Preserving and honoring our local history

The Green River Valley Museum was formed to perpetuate and preserve the history and culture of the Green River Valley in western Wyoming.  Its goal is to honor the many hard working families who have built a unique community. We are a non- profit corporation. Admission to the Museum is by donation. All contributions are greatly appreciated. Special tours welcome and can be arranged, including outside our regular open season.  Opening Day:  June 3, 2016 Open:  June through mid-October Tuesday through Saturday   12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM Admission is by donation. 2016 Highlights May 12: “Wyoming, the Sheepherder State” with John Farr. Thursday, 6PM. June 3: Museum opens for the summer season. Friday, 11AM. June 11: Leather Workshop with Aaron Fandek (pre-registration required). Saturday, 10AM. June 11: Opening program, Saturday, 1PM.
